PESHAWAR, 05 March: The anti-mobile snatching unit of police on Sunday busted a four member mobile snatchers’ gang and arrested four snatchers. Police also seized 150 stolen mobile phones from their possession.
Speaking at a news conference in Peshawar, CCPO Muhammad Tariq Khan said that the police have arrested two mobile snatchers four days ago. He said that acting on the information from arrested snatchers, police arrested a four member gang who were transporting mobile phones to Afghanistan. He said that 150 stolen mobile phones, one laptop, one camera and one memory card were recovered from the procession of the arrested gang.
The police also recovered Afghanistan’s passports from the procession of the arrested mobile snatchers.
They targeted commuters and pedestrians who were spotted conversing on mobile phones.
