Peshawar 22 Sep: Peshawar University has set 28 September as last date for submission of forms for MS/M. Phil. and Ph.D. in 30 disciplines, says an admission notice appeared on the University website.
The candidates seeking admission in MS/M.Phil. are required to have passed GAT (General) conducted by NTS with at least 50% marks. In addition, they must have relevant masters degree or 4-years education after intermediate (130 Credit hours), with a minimum CGPA 2.5 in Semester System or 2nd Division in Annual System.
While those interested in Ph.D. should have MS/MPhil 18 years education with a minimum CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System. They are also required to have passed GAT (Subject) Test conducted by NTS with at least 60% marks.
The University has already issued admission forms on 17 September 2018 and those can be received from Campus branch of United Bank Limited. The University has also directed candidates to submit their admission forms no later than 4.00pm on the last day at admission office adjacent to Central Library.
The discipline includes History, Pashto Academy, Urdu, Psychology, Social work, Sociology, International relations, political science, Education & Research, Journalism & Mass Communication, Arabic, Islamiyat, home economics, Archaeology, Geography, Geology, Urban & Regional Planning, Environmental sciences, Library & Information Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, NCE in Geology, NCE in Physical Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Electronics, Botany, Biotechnology & Microbiology.
