The federal government has announced a hike in petroleum prices for the next 15 days, raising petrol prices by Rs 1 per liter, setting the new price at Rs 257.13 per liter.
Meanwhile, high-speed diesel (HSD) has seen a significant increase of Rs 7 per liter, bringing the new price to Rs 267.95 per liter.
The Ministry of Finance has also issued a notification confirming the new petroleum rates.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has also increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

According to the notification, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder has been raised by Rs 43.52, with a per kilogram increase of Rs 3.68.
With this revision, the price of an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder now stands at Rs 2,996.88, while the per kg price is set at Rs 253.97.
The new LPG rates have been determined for February 2025.
