PESHAWAR, 19 December: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees have ended their protest against the proposed privatisation of the national carrier after successful negotiations with the government.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif assured the PIA Joint Committee that no employee will be sacked after which they decided to end their protest in the whole country which was continuing for the last 10 days.

The Air League Provincial President Rahat Iqbal says the government has postponed its plans of privatising the PIA and assured to remove all the reservations of the employees.
