PESHAWAR, September 4: The Pakistan International Airlines that is already facing economic downfall, suffered millions of rupees loss by taking an empty flight from London to Peshawar.

TNN correspondent says there is no direct flight from London to Peshawar but that the Flight PK-758 landed at the Bacha Khan International Airport while carrying only one passenger.

Meanwhile, PIA spokesperson Mr Mashood Tajur said that the flight had been called to Lahore due to special directions and that it had taken the intending Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia now.
