PESHAWAR, 23 April: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Riyadh to hold negotiations on Yemen crisis with the Saudi Arabian leadership.
The prime minister is accompanied by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Special Assistant to the PM Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry.
The Pakistani delegation was welcomed at the airport by Saudi Defence Minister Muhammad Bin Salman Al-Saud and Interior Minister Nayef Al-Saud.
Mr Sharif also chaired an important meeting while travelling to Saudi Arabia in the plane. The meeting discussed strategies to restore confidence of the Saudi government over the Yemen issue.
