PESHAWAR, 24 April: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assured Saudi Arabia that Pakistan will continue all kinds of cooperation with the kingdom.
In a meeting with Saudi King Shah Salman Bin Abdul Aziz during his visit to Saudi Arabia yesterday, the prime minister said Pakistan has ensured implementation of the United Nations Security Council resolution on the Yemen issue. Mr Sharif said Pakistan’s neutrality on the Yemen issue doesn’t mean opposition to Saudi Arabia. Both the leaders vowed to maintain fraternal bilateral relations in future.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and other leaders also accompanied the prime minister during his Saudi visit.
