WANA, 7 November: The political administration of South Waziristan Agency has started shifting its offices to their respective tehsils to facilitate its people.

The offices were settled in Southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the government launched military operation in 2012.

In the first phase, the administration shifted offices of Makeen tehsil  where a ceremony was also organized. Assistant political agent Naib Din Dawar, who was present on the occasion, said that peace has been restored to the agency.

He said that all out efforts would be made for development of the agency and its people. He said that affairs of the agency could not be managed through remote control, adding that it was need of the hour to shift offices back to its previous buildings.

He said that it would boost confidence of the locals and their trust on law enforcement agencies and was an indicator of peace.
