BISHAM, May 26: Power supply to Alpuri area in Shangla district was restored after authorities repaired an electricity line, which had been damaged in the 2010 floods.
TNN correspondent says the damage to electricity infrastructure had cut off power supply to eight villages over three years ago.
Work on the electricity line had been started one year ago and Member National Assembly Ibaadullah inaugurated it today.
Local residents expressed their joy over resumption of electricity supply. A local resident told TNN, “Due to disconnection of electricity, we were facing a host of problems but now all of our problems will be solved. Hopefully, the government will also solve the power supply problem in other area.”
