PTI rejects parliamentary committee to probe into Gulalai’s allegations against Imran

ISLAMABAD, 08 August: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the parliamentary committee formed for investigation into Ayesha Gulalai’s harassment allegations against Imran Khan.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has categorically rejected the formulation of a parliamentary committee proposed by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to investigation the allegations hurled by spurned member Ayesha Gulalai against Imran Khan.
In a letter written to the Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq by PTI leader Shireen Mazari, the party categorically rejected the formulation of the parliamentary committee saying PTI does not expect justice from the committee established by opponents of the party. The letter further read that the committee comprising their political opponents has no credibility-and political opponents cannot be accusers, judge and jury.
She demanded investigation through an unbiased and independent commission.
The Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had announced a parliamentary committee to probe the allegations of sexual harassment by Ayesha Gulalai against Imran Khan.
