SWABI, 19 July: The federal government has announced to continue Ramazan package being offered to public on different edible and non-edible items through Utility Stores Corporation till the end of the current month.
Regional manger of Utility Stores Corporation Fakhar Naseer told TNN here on Tuesday that the federal government decided to continue Ramazan package to provide relief to people.
The federal government had announced five to seven percent discount on the prices of about 1300 items on all the outlets of Utility stores as relief package during the month of fasting.
“All the edible and non-edible items such as ghee, pulses, beverages and other items will be available on subsidized rates till July 31,” Naseer said.
The government had announced subsidy up to Rs100 in the prices of 20kg flour bag, Rs5 per kg in sugar prices, Rs10 per liter in prices of ghee and oil, Rs13 per liter in the prices of milk and Rs87 per kg in prices of black tea.
