Rao Anwar gets permission to travel within Pakistan

KARACHI: Former SPP Malir Rao Anwar, the man who is accused of being involved in the extra judicial killing of 444 people, has been granted permission to travel within Pakistan.

Previously, he was allowed to leave Karachi city to meet his family for Eid and the court had told him that he would not be allowed to travel for any other reasons unless he had the court’s permission.

The Karachi ATC allowed his request to travel in the country to meet his family. It said he can travel to cities with airports to meet them but must be back in Karachi before the next hearing.

The court ordered him to appear before the court on next hearing or else an order will be passed against him. He is on trial in the Naqeebullah Mehsud murder case.
