KALAYA, 3 September: The process of repatriation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Orakzai Agency got underway on Friday.

The political administration said 10,000 families of Aakhel, Mulakhel and Alikhel tribes will go back to their native areas during the repatriation process. It said a registration centre for the IDPs has been established in Shahukhel area.

The administration said every returning family will get six-month ration and Rs10,000 transport charges. It said the process will continue till 4 October.
