PESHAWAR, 3 May: The judicial commission probing the alleged rigging in the General Elections 2013 has summoned 14 witnesses from the list submitted by the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) on 6 May for cross questioning.

Prominent among the 14 witnesses are former Member National Assembly from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Nabeel Gabol, former Punjab caretaker chief minister Najam Sethi, senior journalist Hamid Mir, former Punjab chief secretary Javed Iqbal and Additional Chief Secretary Rao Iftikhar.

The judicial commission has also issued notices to provincial chief election commissioners, Security Printing Corporation and Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad managing directors of Printing Corporation of Pakistan.

The PTI lawyer will conduct cross questioning of witnesses during the hearing of the judicial commission.
