HANGU, September 29: Administration of Hangu district has temporarily closed a school for displaced students of Orakzai Agency inside Muhammad Khwaja Camp due to security concerns.
Administration officials say they made the decision in the wake of a bomb explosion in the camp on 28 September, killing six people, including a child, and injuring 11 others. Those injured include three children of the school.
The officials said the children were afraid while coming to the school. He said the school would be opened when security situations improved.
Teachers of the school have also demanded the government provide adequate security to the school building.
