PESHAWAR, 22 April: The Pakistan government has handed over the security of Pak-China projects, including Gwadar Kashgar Economic Corridor, and Chinese citizens working of these projects to the Pakistan Army.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement yesterday that a special division will be established to provide security to the Pak-China economic projects. It said the division will include nine battalions of the Pakistan Army and six wings of the civil armed forces.

According to security sources, each battalion will include 500-800 soldiers and civilian wings will also include the same number of personnel.
