BARA, 10 December: The Qaumi Jirga of Sepah tribe of Khyber Agency has vowed to fully cooperate with the political administration in maintaining law and order.
In this regard a Jirga comprising 80 elders of Sepah tribe held a meeting with the political agent at Khyber House on Wednesday. The Jirga vowed to join hands with the political administration to demolish houses of militants if they did not surrender by 25 December.
In return, Political Agent Shahab Ali Shah has also assured Sepah tribe to make efforts for remitting Rs120 fine and ensuring their early repatriation. The Jirga also decided that there will be complete ban on personal and group rivalries in the area and violators will face Rs5 million fine and house demolishment.
An elder of Sepah tribe told TNN on the occasion that they made an agreement with the administration on the pattern of agreement with Afridi tribes. “Now there is no reason left for the government to deprive Sepah tribe from relief packager,” he said.
