QUETTA, 25 October: Seven people were killed while 15 others injured when a passenger van and a truck plunged into deep ravines in Balochistan on Sunday, official sources said.

The sources said that a passenger van was going to Karachi from Turbat through Makran Coastal Highway when ir fell into a ravine in Bari Top area. As a result, four passengers were killed while 14 others sustained injuries.

The injured were shifted by coast guards to Othal hospital first and then Karachi. Five of the injured are stated to be in critical condition.

Meanwhile a truck transporting goods to Karachi plunged into a gorge in Thump area leaving the driver Ghulam Farooq and  Wahid dead while Hafizullah sustained injuries. The injured was shifted to a local hospital for treatment.
