QUETTA, 9 December: Seven people, including a councillor, were killed in different incidents of firing in Balochistan on Tuesday.

Police in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, said unidentified armed men shot dead a local councillor on Thana Road in the night. Two people were killed in firing by unknown armed men in Northern Bypass and Brewery areas.

In Khuzdar, two senior activists of the National Party were shot dead in Gresha area. Two people were also killed in Kang area of Mastung and Chatkan area of Panjgur.
