PESHAWAR, 11 July: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has denied all speculations regarding his retirement saying that he has no intention to say goodbye to Twenty20 Internationals anytime soon.
In an interview with BBC Urdu on Sunday, Afridi said that he could play cricket for another one or two years and that he has no intention to retire at the moment.
Answering a question, Afridi said he is not interested to make a comeback to ODI format, but wants to continue representing the country in T20s game.
Responding to a question about his possible entry into politics, Afridi said he did like politics but his elders and well wishers have advised him to stay away from it.
He said after retirement,he would look after his Shahid Afridi Foundation. He said it is his keen ambition to establish a school for the less privileged.
