WANA, 21 February: A shepherd lost his leg as an improvised explosive device went off in Speenkai Raghzai area of the volatile South Waziristan Agency on Sunday.
According to official sources the shepherd Muhammad Arshad was browsing his sheep in the mountains when the IED planted by unknown miscreants, went off.
He was rushed to a local hospital where doctors amputated one of his legs. This is the second incident in the last one month where IED blast left two persons amputated. A minor girl also lost her leg when she fell prey to a similar blast last month in Raghzai area.
