SHANGLA, 17 October: Six people including three women were killed when a Jeep fell into a deep ravine in Lelonai area of Shangla district on Saturday.

Police said that Muhammad Akif working as a clerk in the office of Deputy Commissioner Shangla was going on  tour to  Lelonai area along with his family and relatives  when his jeep plunged into a gorge in Khor Kili . As a result four people died on the spot while three others sustained injuries who were rushed to district hospital in Alpuri where two of them succumbed to injuries.

The dead were identified as Akif, his son, wife, Shah Khalid and two female relatives of the slain Akif.  A  another female relative of deceased family who got serious injuries  was shifted to Sadu Sharif hospital in Swat for further treatment
