SHANGLA, 28 July: A small power house constructed at the cost of Rs3 million was inaugurated in Shangla on Wednesday.

Member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Shaukat Yousafzai inaugurated the power house during a meeting in Shangla. Speaking on the occasion, Shaukat Yousfzai said the power house was part of the provincial government’s plan to construct 300 power houses in KP. He said the provincial government will fulfil all its promises in this regard soon. He said the KP government plans to increase the number of power houses to 1,000.

The project in-charge Ameerullah said 25 power houses will be constructed in Shangla. He said two power houses in Shangla are near completion.
