WANA, 16 December: The people of South Waziristan Agency are facing difficulties due to lack of facilities at the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office in Wana.

The local people said a large number of people come to the NADRA office in Wana from far flung areas and wait in queues for several hours for their turn due to shortage of staff. They said there is no toilet and clean drinking water facility in the office due to which the visiting people and office staff are facing difficulties.

“Female photographers are often not available for taking photos of our women who observe parda. Many people wait for their turn for several hours and return without being heard due to shortage of staff,” Saleem, a local resident, told TNN.

NADRA office in-charge Azizullah said he is aware of the staff shortage and other problems. He said these problems would be resolved soon.
