PESHAWAR, 06 December: Speakers at an education seminar urged the government to bring positive changes in the academic syllabi and expunge hate materials from it.

The seminar was arranged by Rashid Shaheed Foundation here on Sunday.

The speakers noted that there were numerous loopholes and weekness in the present curricula which is being taught to children in schools, colleges and universities and urged government to bring changes in it.

On this occasion, ANP’s secretary general Mian Iftikhar Hussain said books and pens had been replaced by guns in Pakhtun’s society and that was the reason they had been lagging behind.

He also announced to build a technical academy where poor students would get free vocational training.
