MIRAN SHAH: Visiting Sri Lankan Army cricket team beat Pakistan Army by 31 runs in a friendly match here at Younis Khan Stadium on Friday.

Sri Lanka Eleven won the toss and choose to bat first, scoring 138-8 in 20 overs. To chase the target, Pakistan Army was bowled out for 107. Pak army and local residents welcomed the visiting team.

The guests were introduced to chief guest of the event Major General Mumtaz Hussain. The chief guest given away awards and cash prizes to the winner team and thanked them for visiting the once-volatile region.

The guests appreciated the hospitality of the local people and beauty of the tribal areas. They also lauded Pak Army for restoring lasting peace to the region and urged that international tourists to visit the tribal areas.
