Sri Lanka loses five wickets at the start of second innings in Dubai test

DUBAI, 9 October: Pakistan made a strong comeback into the game with the ball by sending five batsmen back to the pavilion on third day of the second test match

Though they ceded a 220-run first-innings lead to Sri Lanka after scoring 262 in first innings in response to Sri Lanka’s 482 runs.

Wahab Riaz uprooted three batsmen while conceding only 10 runs while Yasir Shah and Mohammad Abbas took one wicket.

Sri Lanka has five wickets in hand still, but were only 254 runs ahead after the third day. They have lost matches from stronger positions in the past three years. Sri Lank is playing on 34/5.
