BUNER, September 4: Students of the Government College, Chamla have protested shortage of teaching staff by blocking the main road in Ambela Amazai area for some time.

The protesting students said there were only four lecturers in their college while a total of 25 lecturers were needed.

Due to staff shortage this year, the college did not offer BA degree, which may waste one year of students of Mandarh tehsil.

The students ended their protest when the college administration promised them to solve their problems.

“Our first problem is that the principal does not come to the college for duty and he is not solving our problems. We are lacking staff, drinking water, , bathrooms, canteen and facilities of sports, transport and laboratory,” said one of the demonstrators.
