PESHAWAR, 09 August: Students, who failed their annual inter exams, have asked the Peshawar Board of Intermediate Secondary Education (BISE) to revisit its decision of cancelation of supplementary examinations.
As per details, the failed students staged a protest demonstration outside the Peshawar Board and demanded the reinstatement of supplementary examinations and rechecking system. They said that Peshawar Board had withdrawn holding of supplementary exams and rechecking system due to which they feared of losing a year.
Adnan Zaib, a protester student, told TNN that new controller has ended rechecking of three papers and supplementary exams. He said it was a very good system for those who wanted to clear his/her papers and improve marks.
When contacted, Board Controller Hameed Ullah Jan said that he didn’t eliminate supplementary exam. He only eliminate papers cancelation system, he said adding supplementary exams will be conducted for those students who failed in the annual exams.
