PESHAWAR, 30 October: Pakistani authorities released a suspect of Armey Public School attack after brief interrogation following his deportation from Italy on Thursday, official sources said.

The sources  said that Italian police had deported and handed over Usman Ghani to Federal Investigation Agency(FIA) at Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) after he was arrested in Italy by law enforcement authorities for his suspected links with extremists.

Sources in FIA said that Usman Ghani was not wanted to law enforcement agencies in Pakistan in any case , therefore, he was released.

The sources said that Usman was arrested  by FIA on his arrival at the airport because he was mistaken for  another man who is sharing his name and  wanted to security agencies in December 16,  attack on APS that killed 152 people including over 140 students.
