PESHAWAR, 18 June: Eleven security personnel have been killed in a militant attack on government buildings in Helmand province of Afghanistan.

According to a foreign news agency, the insurgents attacked government buildings in Musa Qala district last night, killing four soldiers and seven cops. The police regained control of the area after several hours of fight.

The Taliban militants have claimed responsibility for the attack. Militant attacks have increased in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of foreign forces from the war-torn country.
