As many as 23 cricket teams from Tank, Jandola and Gomal are participating in the event organized by Sports Department.

“Four to five football and volleyball night tournaments are presently being played in Tank. But this is the first time that floodlight cricket tournament was held in being Tank under the supervision of Army. It would help highlight the hidden talent of local players. Besides it would be extremely encouraging for the players, who would also get experience of playing in floodlights. There is no proper cricket ground. On self-help basis players find some space to use it as a temporary cricket ground. A proper cricket ground should be established.”
