Tank: Political alliance demands reduction in loadshedding duration

TANK, 03 April: Political leaders from different political parties in Tank have warned the federal government to reduce the duration of unannounced electricity loadshedding within three days otherwise they would be compelled to go on strike.
The Tank local political leaders and elders on Sunday held a meeting at Tanchi area and urged the federal government to reduce the electricity loadshedding duration.
On the occasion, political leaders and elders said that the hours long electricity continue in Tank district since long adding that the loadshedding duration has reached 20-hours. They said that unavailability of clean drinking water has multiplied the miseries of the area residents. They demanded of the government to reduce the loadshedding duration and take steps for permanent resolution of drinking water problem in the area.
While talking to TNN on the occasion, Awami National Party (ANP) Tank district president Fazal Kareem Tatur warned the government to resolve the area problems otherwise they would go on protest, hunger strike and rallies. He said that the protest campaign would continue till fulfilment of their demands.
