MIRANSHAH, 25 December: The protest by the Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) entered the second consecutive day on Sunday demanding of the political administration to stop building commercial plazas over the site of their damaged houses.

The protesting TDPs from Sarai Darpa Khel and Zaffar Town organized a march from Jail Park to Press Club during which they  chanted slogans against the administration and in favor of their demands.

The protestors said that the administration should stop erecting markets on the land of their demolished houses and compensate them for their damaged properties.

Qari Muhammad Roman who was heading the protest demo told TNN, “Our houses should be reconstructed and the administration should compensate us for each and every thing  destroyed in our houses”.

He said that the administration should also stop building markets in place of their demolished houses and rebuild their houses before the repatriation of TDPs.
