BUNER, August 25: Students of the Government Girls Middle School situated in the far-flung Charorai area of Buner district have been facing problems because there is no teacher for Science, Mathematics and English.
TNN correspondent says that 65 girls are at the school while the subjects include Arabic, Islamiat and Pashto while there is no teacher for other subjects.
A local resident, Mr Saleemullah, told TNN that they sent their girls to the other schools in faraway areas, costing them much money and time.
“Till now there was one IT teacher while one TT teacher just joined. There are 65 students and many other girls also want to join the school but they go to a school in Nagrai area as the local school has few teachers. The government must resolve this issue,” he added.
An official of the Education Department in Buner said they were facing staff shortage in majority of their schools but that the problem would be solved soon.
