KABUL, 06 July: Afghan Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdulullah Abdullah has said that all those responsible for killing of 30 policemen in Taliban attacks on certain check-posts in Jalrez district would be taken to task.

Addressing the cabinet meeting today, he said that a team has been constituted to delve into the Jalrez incident. The Afghan CEO is of the view that the incident occurred due to the negligence of some security personnel.

A few days back, Taliban militants occupied nine security check-posts in Jalrez district, killing 30 cops. However, Afghan security forces succeeded to get back the occupied check-posts after a three-day gunfight.
