SADDA, May 20: A three-day free eye camp, organised by the FATA Secretariat in Kurram Agency, has concluded.
TNN correspondent says more than 700 patients were examined and given medications at the camp. Eye surgeries of about 65 people were also performed at the camp and the patients were given glasses.
In addition to doctors of Kurram Agency, four senior doctors arranged by the FATA Secretariat also participated in the camp.
A patient told TNN, “The surgery that I underwent at the camp costs about 40,000 rupees at private hospitals. I am thankful to the FATA Secretariat doctors. I think such camps should be held every month to benefit maximum people of the tribal region.”
