MINGORA, September 11: A three-day industrial exhibition has concluded in Swat district.

Various stalls including clothes, shawls of Islam Pura, sweets, crockery and handicrafts had been arranged at Saidu Sharif stadium during the exhibition, which was organised by the Pakistan Army and Honda motor company.

AT the end, magic shows and sports activities were also held for children. People visiting the exhibition said such kinds of activities promoted tourism and generated means of revenue for local people through sales of their products.

“It was a very good exhibition because we did a lot of shopping here and it also provided our local women to market their handicrafts,” said a visitor.

Another visitor of the event said, “The Pakistan Army must organise such exhibitions with more time duration because three days are not enough. It gives a message of peace to tourists and can promote tourism.”
