PESHAWAR, 10 December: A three-day fair ‘Proud Pakistan Youth’ got underway at Islamia College Peshawar (ICP) on Wednesday.

Over 40 stalls of books on religion, science, medical, computer, engineering, literature and curriculum books have been put on display at the fair which are available to the students with up to 50 percent discount.

A Seerat-un-Nabi quiz was also organised at the fair where the first position holder won cash prize of Rs30,000, second position holder got Rs20,000 and third position holder got Rs15,000. The event has been organised by Study Aid Foundation.

A visitor told TNN that he has specially come to the Islamia College for the book fair which is a very useful event.

“This is a very beneficial event for the students where they can get all sorts of books on very low rates,” he said. He added that such events should be organised regularly.
