Three soldiers injured in North Waziristan attack

MIRANSHAH: Three soldiers sustained injuries when their vehicle was targeted with a remote control bomb in North Waziristan Agency on Monday.

The security forces vehicle came under attack when it was travelling on Boya Road. The vehicle was also damaged in the blast. The injured soldiers were taken to Miranshah Camp Hospital for treatment.

The security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and launched a search operation.

Several remote control and landmine blasts have happened in North Waziristan recently which have killed many people, including security personnel.

A remote control blast in North Waziristan during curfew last month killed one soldier and injured three others.

Besides, five people have also fallen victim to target killings in North Waziristan during the last one month.
