PESHAWAR, 26 October: Tribesmen of Rajgal valley in Tirah area of Khyber Agency on Thursday taken out rally to protest closure of food items to the displaced families of the area due to which they have been facing immense problems.
The participants of the rally led by local elders were holding banners and placards inscribed with demands from the government to start provision of ration to the displaced families.
Addressing the participants, Malik Noor Zahid, Dr Shahan and others said that around 23000 families uprooted due to military operations in the valley, who have been living a displaced life.
They said that most of families have been avoided taking shelters at camps who have been living in houses vacated by their relatives in different localities of the agency.
They lamented that only 1800 families were registered with relief organizations that was share injustice.
They said that World Food Programme has also closed provision of food items due to which the displaced families were faced with problems.
Noor Zahid said that food items were being given to all displaced families of the agency except Kokikhel tribesmen.
