Tourists throng to Swat valley

SWAT, 11 July: People have started coming back from different tourist places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after Eid holidays.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said more than four lakh people from different parts of the country visited Swat. It said the Pakistan Army personnel along with the local police took measures to ensure protection of tourists and ensure smooth communication. The Army personnel also played role in smooth flow of traffic in Madyan, Bahrain, Kalam, Maho Dhand and other tourist places in Swat. No one complained about mismanagement or law and order in Swat during the Eid holidays due to fool proof arrangements by the Army.

Tens of thousands of tourists also visited Kaghan, Naran, Kumrat and other scenic places in KP to enjoy the Eid holidays. Most of tourists have now returned after end of the Eid holidays.
