JAMRUD, 20 September: A three-day training programme for 20 teachers of private educational institutions organised at a private school in Shahkas area of Jamrud tehsil in Khyber Agency concluded on Saturday.

The training programme was arranged by Afaq, a non-government organisation. President All Jamrud Private Schools Association Arif Khan said on the occasion that the participants were trained about activity-based and practical education during the three-day moot.

A participant of the training, Shabir told TNN that a teacher’s role does not end with just teaching the curriculum books to students. “Students should be provided proper education and training to make them valuable citizens of the country,” he said.
