PESHAWAR, July 15: A social welfare organisation, Liaqat Welfare Trust, has dispatched 28 truckloads of food and non-food items from Peshawar to Bannu for the internally displaced persons of North Waziristan.
On the occasion of dispatching the aid, Health Minister Mr Shahram Tarakai, who is also an office-bearer of the organisation, told media that the aid includes food items and items of daily use.
“All of our guests, who are living in Bannu and Lakki Marwat, are often called IDPs in the media but we call them guests. The food items include dates, drinks and other items. We pray that our guest go back home safely and soon,” he added.
