PESHAWAR, 11 December: A commander of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), North Waziristan was reportedly killed in an encounter with Afghan security forces in Paktika, Afghanistan, media reports said.

According to media reports, the TTP commander Aryana fled to Afghanistan after the military offensive Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan was started. The Afghan security forces also claimed to have arrested 15 of Aryana’s comrades during a raid on their hideout and recovered huge cache of explosives and weapons.
