PESHAWAR, 28 November: Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC), a social organisation, has signed an agreement with 46 technical colleges and vocational centres of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide free of cost technical training to 2,100 poor and deserving students.

A ceremony in this regard was organised at a local hotel in Peshawar on Friday. Representatives of technical colleges from different districts of KP participated in the ceremony.

TUSDEC Manager Monitoring and Evaluation Zakirullah said while addressing the ceremony that all the students for the scheme will be selected purely on merit basis. He said TUSDEC will bear expenses for technical training of all the students under the scheme.

Mir Zakirullah said his organisation will give interest-free loans to students and will help them in searching jobs.
