PESHAWAR, 10 August: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa claimed to have arrested two agents of an Afghan intelligence service here in  Regi area of Peshawar  on Wednesday.

A statement issued by the CTD, said that the agents named as Atiqullah and Abdul Sabur were apprehended in a special operation along with a bomb installed in Central Processing Unit of computer, a hand grenade and arms.

The accused Afghan intelligence operatives had prepared a terror plot in Peshawar as videos of important and sensitive places of the city were recovered from them, the statement said. It further alleged that the accused had also planned to attack on a seminary in Tehkal area of the city.

Meanwhile, Peshawar police has arrested five robbers from Phandu area and recovered looted money and weapons from their possession.
