PESHAWAR, 13 July: Twelve civilians have died in two bomb blasts in eastern and northern Afghanistan.
Abdul Karim Fayeq, police chief for Kapsia province, said a bomb planted on the roadside by unidentified militants in Taghab district hit a vehicle on Sunday, killing 10 civilians.
Two more civilians were killed in another improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Kunduz province.
Some media reports said one of these blasts was a suicide attack which claimed at least 25 lives.
No group has claimed responsibility for these blasts.
