MARDAN, November 2: The Advancement and Career Development Cell held a two-day training workshop on disaster management at the Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan district.
The event was arranged to raise awareness among students regarding first-aid and how to assist people in times of calamities.
Dr Haris Habib, emergency officer of the rescue service in Mardan, awarded the certificates and distributed first-aid boxes amongst all of the participants at the end.
Mr Sadiq, a trainee of the workshop, told TNN that, “Such kinds of training workshops are very essential for the students. If any mishap takes place and the Rescue-1122 personnel could not reach on time, people who have attended such workshops can help the victims.”
