BARA, September 15: An armed clash between security forces and militants left two students and four attackers dead in Khyber Agency.

Administration officials say armed motorcyclists opened fire on a security checkpost in Dogra area of Bara tehsil. In retaliatory fire, the security forces killed four militants and injured another. The incident also left two passer-by students dead.

After the incident, the security forces launched search operation in the area.

One killed in Tank clash

Meanwhile, a clash between armed men and activists of a local peace committee claimed one life while two others including a passer-by were injured in Tank.

The police said the militants and peace committee members exchanged fire in Karri Warooki area, alleged militant Sajidullah dead while the peace committee member Mr Sanaullah and a passer-by Mr Irshad were injured.
